Job Summary

Snelling is seeking a skilled FRP Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Crowley, Louisiana. As an FRP Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating fiberglass components using various techniques, including hand layup and structural FRP angles, channels, tubes, and gratings.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate fiberglass components using hand layup and structural FRP techniques
• Operate basic measuring tools, hand power tools, and air tools
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Perform physical duties, including moving, securing, installing, loading, and unloading materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards
• Read and follow safety warnings, guidelines, and labels
• Operate a forklift (optional)

Requirements

• Ability to use basic measuring tools, operate basic hand power and air tools
• Good understanding of structural FRP angles, channels, tubes, gratings, and hand layup techniques
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
• Ability to operate a forklift (optional)
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints (optional)

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Pay starts at $15-25 per hour, depending on experience.
