Job Title: Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist to join our team at Tekaccel, Inc. in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Summary:

The Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist will provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in South Dakota
  • 1.5 years of general nursing experience
  • BSN required
  • ICU level RN experience with ability to float to MedSurg/Tele
  • Experience with titration of all drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine, Insulin)
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance
