PrideStaff is seeking an Electrical Controls Specialist to perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and testing of equipment. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and diagnose problems, repair plant instrumentation and process systems, and install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills to work with operators and maintenance personnel on operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic components and equipment. The successful candidate will actively participate in plant safety processes, analyze and troubleshoot electrical DC controls and AC controls, and provide safe and timely electrical support. Key responsibilities include power distribution troubleshooting, electrical installations, and PLC programming and modification of programs and devices. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of instrumentation, including calibration, repair, and installation, and be able to work with various process control programs and operating systems. Strong time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, and organization skills are essential for this role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and an associate's degree in an industrial maintenance-related field or equivalent work experience and education is preferred. 1+ years of experience in related fields is also preferred. The salary range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 DOE.
