Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and testing
  • Prepare patients for medical procedures, including surgical abortion services
  • Triaging patients, preparing exam rooms, and assisting providers before, during, and after medical procedures
  • Provide non-judgmental, empathetic care to patients
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school/program or Medical Assistant Certification by a certifying organization approved by the Medical Board of California
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably in reproductive health care
  • Recent experience performing blood draws and injections is desirable
