Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Alpine Physician Partners. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical services staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for visits by reviewing and updating their records, ensuring all necessary information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Maintain exam rooms according to protocols, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Assist physicians and mid-level providers during patient examinations, taking vital signs and documenting medical information accurately.
  • Provide initial medical screening, greeting patients, and directing them to the appropriate exam room.
  • Utilize time effectively, assisting with duties such as restocking rooms and supplies, and ensuring all areas are clean and orderly.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take patients' medical histories and understand provider instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff, demonstrating diplomacy and tact.
  • Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to cross-train within other departments.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culturally sensitive and able to work with ethnically diverse populations.
  • Working knowledge of "Universal Precautions" and confidentiality standards.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish and other languages strongly preferred.
Education:
  • High school Graduate (or GED) required.
  • Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant.
  • Current, valid CPR certification.
