Position Summary

The Software Solutions Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing the sales and utilization of our products by delivering comprehensive instructions, conducting software demonstrations, and providing tailored recommendations. This position also involves offering software support to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate customer inquiries and applications related to PMI, CMM, Form, and/or QV/QS products. Advise and assist in establishing parameters for suitable software solutions.
  2. Deliver instructions, conduct software demonstrations, and respond to technical inquiries from clients and team members.
  3. Assist in resolving software issues.
  4. Support distributor personnel during end-user sales engagements.
  5. Engage in product knowledge training sessions.
  6. Timely preparation and submission of required reports.
  7. Participate in distributor trade exhibitions.
  8. Stay updated on our products, effective demonstration techniques, and competitor activities. Communicate new developments effectively.
  9. Attend regional meetings and partake in sales training and product knowledge sessions as necessary.
  10. Update the Customer Management Tool (CRM) as instructed.

Work Environment: Office setting and showroom floor.

Physical Demands: The individual in this role may need to move around the office to access file cabinets and office equipment. This role involves utilizing various tools to create solutions for clients.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel may be necessary, with an average travel time of up to 5 hours at one time.

Required Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of college education or specialized training, along with one year of relevant experience.
