Job Description

Clarins USA, Inc. is seeking a talented Counter Manager to lead our team in Macy's Short Hills, NJ.

This role involves directing an award-winning team, communicating effectively with customers, and developing strategies to build the Clarins business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading through empowerment and teaching by example
  • Motivating counter staff to meet daily sales goals and reviewing specific goals for focus products
  • Communicating upcoming in-store events and promotions with all counter staff
  • Uncovering networking/outsourcing opportunities
  • Recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent for the counter
  • Achieving overall retail sales and event goals and ensuring all team members are achieving Club Clarins goals

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of successful in-store sales experience, as well as, managerial experience
  • Knowledge of, and ability to handle multiple projects, review and prepare event schedules, and meet critical deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and sales experience
  • Strong sales ability and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create activity and animation
  • Prior cosmetics experience
