Varsity Wrestling Coach

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Varsity Wrestling Coach to join our team at Beecher High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Varsity Wrestling team to success and providing a positive and supportive learning environment for our student-athletes.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan to improve team performance and achieve athletic excellence.
• Recruit and manage a team of assistant coaches to support the coaching program.
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents, students, and community members to promote the program and foster a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with all district and state regulations, including safety protocols and concussion management.
• Collaborate with the athletic director and other coaches to develop and implement a comprehensive athletic program.

• A minimum of three years of head coaching or three years of experience as an assistant coach in the sport area.
• Playing experience in the sport area and an understanding of sport skills.
• Demonstrated interest in aptitude for performing the assignment.
• Newly hired employees must satisfactorily pass a police clearance, digital fingerprinting, drug test, and reference checks.
• Registration with ESS Midwest (formerly PCMI) is required for athletic coach positions.
