Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant who is passionate about delivering quality healthcare to underserved communities. In this role, you will provide essential medical services to patients at Sea Mar Community Health Centers, adhering to established guidelines and best practices. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a care team to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients.
  • Provide primary medical care in alignment with your training, experience, and licensure.
  • Refer patients to specialists or additional services as necessary.
  • Prescribe and dispense medications in accordance with Washington State regulations.
  • Engage in preventive health initiatives, including immunizations and health education for patients and community groups.
  • Participate in clinical operations, working alongside administrative staff and medical leadership to enhance patient care experiences.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation and patient care paperwork.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (flexible full-time equivalent)
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Direct patient care in person

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree and certification as a Physician Assistant, licensed in Washington State.
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and certification by the appropriate board.
  • Current DEA certification.
  • Compliance with all vaccination requirements for employment.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in community health settings is advantageous.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.
