Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at the Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center and the Oklahoma Crisis Recovery Unit. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing care to high-risk individuals in a state facility located in the heart of the metro area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain supportive relationships with consumers to address strengths, goals, and barriers to recovery.
  • Provide direct care to consumers in an inpatient, outpatient, or residential care setting.
  • Monitor recovery progress toward treatment goals and participate in de-escalation activities.
  • Participate in recovery, wellness, and social skills groups, and develop and manage other group activities.

Requirements:

  • No experience or education required.
  • Must be able to pass a physical examination and meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
