Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Women's ICU team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care to women with high-risk pregnancies and obstetric complications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with high-risk pregnancies and obstetric complications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, including intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, and cardiac rhythms.
  • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop/revises an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
  • Evaluate patients' progress toward attaining expected outcomes.
  • Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
  • Function as a patient and family advocate.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit/department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
  • Prefer 2 years experience in ICU/ICC or high-risk OB.
