Perioperative Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care throughout the perioperative process, from pre-op to post-op.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, providing education on surgical procedures, recovery, and post-operative care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Work cooperatively with other disciplines to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the operating room setting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Texas.
- Experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
