Job Description

MARSAN ASSOCIATES PC is a full-service CPA firm offering a wide range of accounting, tax, and financial planning services. As a Financial Statement Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, finalizing trial balances, and performing Compilation, Reviews, and Audits of financial statements. You will also be expected to provide additional financial reporting as requested and assist with sales tax and payroll reporting.

  • Prepare/ input accounting data, reconcile monthly bank statements to general ledger, posting adjusting entries.
  • Input data into Thomson Reuters Accounting system (will train).
  • Good working knowledge of QuickBooks - both desktop and online versions.
  • Prepare financial statements as needed, finalize trial balances at year-end for business tax return reporting.
  • Perform Compilation, Reviews, and Audits of the financial statements for those clients requiring year-end financial statements.
  • Additional financial reporting as requested.
  • Sales tax reporting (monthly & quarterly).
  • Payroll (after the fact) reporting and quarterly filing for those payroll processed in-house.
