Job Summary:The LPN will provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical team, working under the direction of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Professional Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care and support to our medical team, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with clinical procedures, such as phlebotomy and EKGs, under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in Massachusetts.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Experience in a physician office setting.
- Knowledge of Windows and PC applications.
- Data entry skills.
