About Our Facility

Froedtert Hospital is a comprehensive healthcare facility, recognized for its commitment to patient care across all age groups. As a Level III Trauma Center, we play a vital role in community health, actively participating in tissue procurement and organ donation initiatives, and collaborating closely with local first responders.

Key Features
  • Our Emergency Department is equipped with 23 trauma beds
  • Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1
  • We serve a significant number of patients daily
  • Emergency Department Technicians are integral in providing supportive care.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid Emergency Medical Technician Certification in good standing is mandatory.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an equivalent is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA is necessary.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA is required within the first year of employment.
