Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst II to join our team at Disability Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for procuring materials, equipment, supplies, and services based on program-specific requirements and specifications.

You will develop purchase orders in accordance with specifications, requirements, work statements, and terms and conditions. Additionally, you will lead procurement activities and assigned commodities required for the sourcing of complex programs for material, software, and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment, familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations, and understanding of the role of procurement in complex industries.

Responsibilities include preparing/reviewing proposals, developing evaluation criteria, selecting or recommending suppliers, creating electronic purchase orders (ePO) files for review, preparing awards, and administering resulting purchase orders.

Negotiations and modifications to purchase orders as well as resolving invoicing issues are also key aspects of this role. You will follow and execute established and approved procurement policies and procedures in order to provide the best value consistent with quality and service requirements while maintaining good supplier relations.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and 2 years or more of directly related work experience preferably in a government-contracting environment.
  • Experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and the understanding of the role of procurement in complex industries.
  • Experience in procurement efforts in a Department of Defense (DOD) contracting environment.
  • Experience in buying across various commodities (electronics, mechanical, PWB's, cables, optics...)
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Pay Information: Full-Time Salary Range: $64,130 - $109,010
