About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst to join our team at ECI Group. As a key member of our acquisitions team, you will play a critical role in identifying and evaluating potential apartment acquisition opportunities, analyzing financial models, and assisting with the due diligence and closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial models to analyze apartment acquisition opportunities and disposition strategies
  • Assist with identifying and tracking potential apartment acquisition opportunities, including researching market trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement apartment acquisition and disposition strategies
  • Assist with the negotiation of letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements for apartment acquisitions
  • Manage apartment acquisition due diligence and closing process, including interface with asset management and management divisions, as well as 3rd party consultants
  • Assist with financing apartment acquisitions and refinancing apartments already owned by the company, including preparation of loan request packages and negotiation of loan documents
  • Assist with apartment dispositions, including preparation of internal valuations and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements
  • Develop and maintain organized electronic databases for all transactions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-3+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in multi-family assets
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
