Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee the receiving, order filling, shipping, and off-shift operations of the distribution center.
  • Productivity and Quality: Establish and meet productivity and quality goals, ensuring that high standards of safety, quality, and customer service are met.
  • Leadership and Development: Assist the General Manager with short and long-term planning, budgetary and expense control, and the implementation of operational policies, programs, and systems.
  • Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, assess, manage, develop, and revise key productivity indicators to control costs.
  • Staff Management: Assist the General Manager with staff hiring, orientation, training, performance evaluations, pay increases, and associate development.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and accident-free working environment, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business administration or logistics preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of distribution center operations management experience or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Language: Spanish/English bi-lingual is strongly preferred.
