Medical Assistant or LPN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at Franciscan Health.
About the RoleAs a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our outpatient settings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Obtaining comprehensive medical histories
- Documenting patient care via electronic medical records
- Administering vaccines, injections, and medications
- Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
- Medication reconciliation under the supervision of RN/Provider
You will also be responsible for gathering requirements from internal and external customers and providing information via phone, electronic messaging, and in-person.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A Certificate or Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting or LPN
- 1 year of experience in Medical Assisting or LPN
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA) or valid LPN license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
