Pastry Cook

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at College Fresh, Inc. as a Culinary Specialist. This role involves supervising food preparation, organization, and daily kitchen operations for designated College Fresh accounts.

• Plan and coordinate pastry production to meet meal serving hours, adhering to established production procedures and systems.
• Prepare and coordinate the preparation of breakfast and dessert pastries using established production procedures and systems.
• Ensure availability of supplies and food or approved substitutions in adequate time for preparation.
• Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
• Represent College Fresh in interactions with clients, including student members, corporate headquarters, and local alumni.
• Provide excellent customer service in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Perform routine assignments such as dishwashing, mopping, sweeping, garbage removal, and other daily cleaning functions as assigned.
• Assist with special event meal preparation and serve meals during meal service as required.

• Experience working in a bakery or similar environment.
• 1-2 years of working in a professional kitchen, restaurant, and/or catering environment.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.

This role operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers, and chefs knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise.
