About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at H-E-B Wellness Primary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support services, including vital sign checks, medical histories, and lab specimen collection.
  • Assist physicians with exams and medical procedures, and provide clinic support as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care and facilitate communication between patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of H-E-B-sponsored health insurance and related benefits.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification (CMA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in office, clerical, or medical work; medical assistant, admissions rep, or clinic support experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work extended hours and/or rotating schedules as needed.
