Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Optical Sales Associate to join our team at America's Best. As an Optical Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling and dispensing eyewear, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Meet and exceed sales targets by providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations on eyewear and eye care products.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest eyewear trends, products, and technologies to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Dispensing and Fitting: Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, including contact lenses and glasses.
  • Customer Education: Educate customers on proper eyeglass and contact lens care, and provide guidance on eye health and wellness.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Fluency in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
  • Previous Experience: Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Licensure: Maintain a valid optician's license, as required by state.
  • Selling and Customer Service Skills: Strong selling skills, aimed at meeting sales targets, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
