Our 4 Center OB Special Care unit is a specialized area within the world of Obstetrics care, providing expert individualized care for patients with high-risk pregnancies and pregnancy-related conditions, as well as postpartum care. Our team is trained in electronic fetal monitoring, mother and fetal well-being assessment, and administration of high-risk medications.

Scope of Work

As a RN Antepartum Specialist, you will deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably, upholding the standards of professional performance as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA). You will demonstrate competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required within 90 days.
  • 6+ months of inpatient RN experience is preferred.
