About the Job:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an ICU or CCU setting and possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized plans of care based on their needs and responses
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all relevant information and interventions
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Healthcare Provider certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications (as required by area)
Salary Range:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
