As a cardiac cath lab technologist in interventional radiology, you'll collaborate with the physician to perform minimally invasive procedures, such as catheterization of the heart and other interventions. Working in an operating room, cardiac Cath lab or similar healthcare facility, you'll prepare equipment, assist surgeons, monitor patient vitals, and maintain sterile conditions. You might care for patients undergoing angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis, or biopsies.

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license
