Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Nurses First Solutions is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work with our team in Tallahassee, Florida. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with various medical imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, embolization, and tumor ablation
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • 2+ years of experience in interventional radiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
