**Job Overview**

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking an Aquatics Instructor Aide to join our team. This role involves assisting instructors in conducting aquatic lessons for members and participants while maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist instructors in teaching swimming skills and techniques in accordance with YMCA standards.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the pool area at all times.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Participate as part of the aquatics staff team to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for members and participants.

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum age requirement of 15 years old, with successful completion of a swimming skills test.
  • Pursue YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor certification.

**Salary Range:

$13-$15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
