Job Overview

Infusion for Health is a leading provider of infusion therapy services, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a comfortable and patient-focused environment. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Bakersfield, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer IV infusion and injections for patients with chronic illnesses, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of treatment.
  • Collaborate with ordering providers to discuss patient care plans and ensure seamless communication.
  • Educate patients about the risks, side effects, and benefits of their medications, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Review and verify medical records, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Keep Medical Director and Nursing Director informed of all clinical updates and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist in managing registered nurses and other staff within the clinic, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or post-master level certificate in pediatrics.
  • Current basic life support/AED & ACLS certification.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a hospital, clinic, and/or ambulatory setting caring for children and adults.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
  • The hourly pay range for this role is expected to be between $75-$95. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, expertise, geographic location, and skill set.
  • The total compensation package includes an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
