Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and fittings with attention to existing infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting to locate and repair pipe and pipeline systems using various methods.
  • Diagnosing leaks of an unknown source and performing drain cleaning using various drain equipment.
  • Interpreting blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures.
  • Analyzing problems and identifying appropriate tools and materials for repair.
  • Preparing written work cost estimates for clients.
  • Documenting service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records on an iPad, using the Service Titan app.
  • Demonstrating respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement.
  • Completing all tasks in accordance with Moore Home Services quality and safety standards.
  • Meeting sales goals and metrics.
  • Adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of previous plumbing experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic plumbing concepts, water distribution, and disposal systems in residential buildings.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and personable.
  • Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business.
  • Must be willing to undergo a thorough background check, drug screen, and physical.
  • Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
  • Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof).
  • Frequent standing, squatting, sitting, and crawling for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate exposure to physical risk.
  • Occasionally required to move 75lbs.
