Job Overview

The Hotel Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests by performing various housekeeping duties. This role requires prompt responses to requests from guests and collaboration with other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and transport them to designated areas.
  2. Access guest rooms following established protocols to ensure safety and privacy.
  3. Restock guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
  4. Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
  5. Make beds and neatly arrange towels.
  6. Thoroughly clean bathrooms and remove waste, soiled linens, and room service items.
  7. Verify that all appliances in the room are functional and present.
  8. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances, ensuring a tidy appearance.
  9. Dust, polish, and eliminate marks from walls and furnishings.
  10. Vacuum carpets in guest rooms and hallways.
Safety and Security

Adhere to all company and safety policies to maintain a secure environment. Report any incidents or safety hazards to management immediately. Participate in safety training and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.

Guest Relations

Provide exceptional service by welcoming guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Anticipate guest preferences and respond positively to requests. Show appreciation to guests and ensure a pleasant farewell.

Qualifications

No formal education is required, and prior experience in a similar role is not mandatory. A commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor is essential.

Work Environment
