Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join our team at Michigan State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing referral cases, supervising and clinical instruction of house officers and students, and contributing to scholarly activities in the field of veterinary oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage referral cases and provide clinical instruction to house officers and students
  • Supervise and mentor junior faculty and staff members
  • Contribute to scholarly activities, including research and publication
  • Participate in pre-clinical teaching and contribute to specialty service leadership

Requirements:

  • DVM/VMD (or equivalent degree) and board certification or eligibility in veterinary oncology
  • Eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan
  • Preferred qualifications include MS/PhD (or equivalent degree) and additional training or certification in clinical research
