The Role

As a Founding Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing cutting-edge AI technologies. You'll collaborate with our leadership to construct advanced memory systems for LLM intelligence and pioneer applications that showcase the transformative potential of our contextual infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the evolution of our core technology, transcending conventional RAG techniques
  • Architect innovative AI applications that leverage our contextual infrastructure
  • Explore novel approaches to AI-human interaction, potentially redefining information access and utilization
  • Rapidly iterate on ideas, translating cutting-edge research into impactful applications
  • Collaborate with our founding team to shape product strategy and technical direction
  • Balance hands-on engineering with growing leadership responsibilities
  • Build and mentor a world-class engineering team
Your Journey With Us:

First Month: Immerse yourself in our codebase and AI technologies, contribute meaningfully to our core product, engage in strategic discussions for innovative AI applications, integrate with our development ecosystem and team dynamics.

By Third Month: Assume ownership of key components in our contextual infrastructure, lead the development of a flagship AI application, influence architectural decisions and technical roadmap, mentor fellow engineers, sharing your AI and LLM expertise, participate in scaling our engineering team.

By Sixth Month: Drive the evolution of our engineering processes, lead major initiatives in advancing our contextual infrastructure, spearhead the creation of multiple pioneering AI applications, transition into a leadership role, potentially managing a team, significantly influence our product strategy and AI vision.

Exceptional engineering acumen, particularly in full stack development and applying LLM technologies. Profound understanding of RAG systems and vision for their evolution. Strong leadership potential and ability to inspire technical teams. Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Balances technical depth with strategic thinking.

Our Tech Stack:

Our engineering ecosystem includes React, heavy usage of LLMs, React Native, Supabase/Postgres, Langchain, Llamaindex, specialized ML models. We're pushing the boundaries in RAG systems, model distillation, and specialized transformer training.

Compensation:

With our flexible compensation model, employees have the ability to design their compensation according to their needs. People join startups for different reasons and we want to be accommodating and flexible to everyone's lives. Every candidate approved for an offer receives two options: The first offer is a lower salary with a higher equity package. The second is a higher salary with a lower equity package. Candidates can choose either option or anywhere in between the two on a sliding scale. The annual salary range for this role is $180,000-$320,000 USD, and the actual salary range offered will vary based on experience level and interview performance.
