Nurse Practitioner

As a Clinical Nurse III on our Infectious Disease/Medical-Surgical Unit, you will play a vital role in creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, while documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary of $45.95/hour, with an hourly range of $36.73 - $60.93.
