The Building Services Coverage Specialist is responsible for providing temporary support during staff absences within our facilities management team. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the lobby and security operations for a residential complex.
- Managing and organizing tenant packages and deliveries.
- Handling the collection and disposal of waste and recyclables.
- Operating the building's compactor.
- Maintaining cleanliness in all shared and outdoor areas.
- Conducting snow removal and preparing vacant apartments.
- Performing additional tasks as directed by the Superintendent or Property Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in computer use is preferred.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour. Opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions are available across various shifts. There is potential for transition into a full-time union role based on performance and the availability of openings.
