Jackson Lewis P.C. is a leading law firm specializing in labor and employment law. We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Law Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on management labor relations, including handling unfair labor practice charges, researching and writing on labor relations, and representing management in NLRB elections.
  • Develop and implement proactive strategies to cultivate high-functioning workforces, engage employees, and promote inclusivity and respect.
  • Negotiate and provide legal advice on collective bargaining agreements, handle grievance and arbitration proceedings, and obtain mass picketing injunctions.
  • Conduct management training on labor relations and advise management on union work stoppage situations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop business-oriented solutions to labor and employment law challenges.

Requirements:

  • JD from an ABA Accredited Law School
  • 2 years of Traditional Labor Law experience involving labor relations
  • WA Bar Admission
  • Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish, is a plus but not required

  • Competitive salary range of $153,500 to $185,000
