Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION team as an Audiologist. As a key member of our audiology service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations to determine the type and degree of hearing loss.
  • Determine patients' need for amplification and predict the effectiveness of amplification.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address hearing loss and balance disorders.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss and balance disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure to practice audiology in a state, territory, or commonwealth.
  • Experience in audiology, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
