We invite you to be a part of Connecticut's most extensive healthcare network.

Hartford Hospital stands as one of New England's largest and most esteemed teaching hospitals. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, we deliver state-of-the-art medical care to our patients.

Our advanced capabilities are supported by the largest robotic surgery center in the Northeast and the Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation (CESI), which is recognized as one of the leading medical simulation training facilities globally.

When other hospitals require specialized care, expertise, and innovative treatment options, they turn to us.

Job Overview:

The role involves overseeing patients' recovery from anesthesia and managing their postoperative care, which includes recovery from general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and IV sedation.

Our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) features 28 beds, catering to a diverse range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, urology, gynecology, neurosurgery (including spine surgery), plastic surgery, thoracic and vascular surgery, cardiac procedures (TAVR), bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, ENT, and OMF surgery.

While ICU experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates with experience in Emergency Departments, Step-down units, and general floor nursing on a case-by-case basis.

- ACLS certification is required for external candidates.

We prioritize the growth of our employees.
