Position Summary:

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Security Operations Specialist to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee Internal Security Controls through compliance assessments and self-inspections to ensure adherence to governmental and corporate regulations.
  • Identify security gaps and formulate corrective measures.
  • Conduct Administrative Inquiries on personnel and processes to assess compliance levels.
  • Manage Communication Security (COMSEC) tasks, including inventory and compliance with regulations.
  • Safeguard sensitive information from unauthorized access and develop an Operational Security program.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, contributing to enterprise compliance and procedural reviews.
  • Innovate in Personnel Security processes to streamline security clearance procedures.
  • Enhance security awareness through training programs and materials.
  • Supervise Physical Security responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage Sub-Contractor compliance with security requirements.

Work Environment:

This position requires full-time onsite presence.

Security Clearance:

An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations manual (NISPOM).
  • 5+ years as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO).
  • 3+ years in a classified facility security role.
  • Certification as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in strategic planning and project management.
  • Leadership experience in team development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

Typically requires advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and 15+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance may be available based on eligibility.

Shift Information:

This position operates on a first shift schedule.
