- Lead Continuous Improvement Efforts
- Utilize quality tools and data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate teams, meetings, training, and support to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Supervise Quality-Related Activities
- Oversee customer complaints and determine quality activities required to eliminate issues.
- Lead suppliers to corrective action and monitor Supplier KPI performance.
- Provide Leadership and Guidance
- Promote leadership and guidance to the operations team to meet all quality requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of FAA DMIRs and receiving inspectors.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. quality assurance, engineering, business administration).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Intermediate Excel experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid leadership, self-motivation, and participative team skills.
- Effective training skills.
- Ability to interpret customer quality requirements.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).
- AS9100 Auditing Experience
- Experience working under an AS9100 QMS.
- PPAP Experience
- Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- Language Skills
- English and Spanish speaking a plus.
