Maintenance Yard Supervisor

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Yard Supervisor to join our team at Keolis Commuter Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fueling and cleaning facilities, ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance of our fleet.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in the yard and fuel island, delegating tasks and workload to utility, fueler, and prober personnel as needed.
• Ensure that vehicle interiors and exteriors are cleaned and presented in a safe and presentable manner, adhering to company standards.
• Verify that vehicle interior cards are up-to-date and accurate.
• Communicate effectively with the parts department to ensure timely ordering of supplies.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to coordinate special event vehicles and ensure seamless execution.
• Communicate with dispatch to identify vehicles that have entered service and those that are scheduled for maintenance.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to identify out-of-service vehicles and those scheduled for repair.
• Ensure that work areas and utility cart storage spaces are clean and organized at the end of each shift.
• Monitor and maintain adequate supplies for utility and fueler personnel.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure that fire lanes and emergency areas are properly coned off.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Assistant Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Manager.
• Document and submit daily cleaning and fuel logs to the Maintenance Manager.

**Requirements**

• Two years of verifiable experience as a utility supervisor in a similar role, responsible for supervising a large team of employees engaged in utility and fuel work.
• A valid driver's license.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective courses of action.
• Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate complex schedules and assignments.
• Ability to read and write in English and follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic math skills associated with chemical mixing, square footage calculations, and labor-related calculations.
• Excellent attendance record and demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment.
• Computer literacy.
