We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Formulation Chemist to join our team at RCM Technologies. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for the development of new adhesive, sealant, and coating formulations, as well as providing technical support to our operations and R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with operations and R&D teams to create and commercialize new products
  • Develop project plans and timelines for assigned projects, providing timely updates and reports as directed
  • Provide technical support to marketing, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and other product development staff as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical trends and developments in the field of adhesives, sealants, and coatings
  • Conduct literature and patent reviews, and provide internal summaries and presentations on relevant developments
  • Familiarity with stage gate process and design control procedure knowledge and document maintenance
  • Work with EHS to support regulatory compliance
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science, with 6+ years of experience, or PhD in a related field with 3+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of different chemistries, including silicone, epoxy, urethane, and UV curing
  • Familiarity with analytical analysis techniques, such as FT-IR, DSC, TGA, GC-MS, and GPC
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools, such as DOE
