Position Overview:

Location: Berkeley Springs, WV

Employment Type: Permanent

Compensation: $110K - $125K annually

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize PLC systems and HMI configurations.
  • Collaborate with corporate engineering teams on capital projects.
  • Utilize CMMS (JDE) for effective planning of maintenance tasks, including work order management and parts procurement.
  • Participate in weekly planning sessions to strategize short and long-term project initiatives.
  • Conduct inspections and report on equipment requiring repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Work closely with operations and electrical teams to troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide training and development for plant electricians.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Completion of industrial electrical and/or PLC training programs.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial electrical environment.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to swiftly identify problems and implement corrective measures.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with both union and salaried staff.
  • Proficient in scheduling and executing maintenance tasks in coordination with production teams.
  • Knowledge of labor relations is crucial.
  • Extensive computer proficiency, particularly in CMMS for creating work orders and managing parts inventory.
  • Familiarity with plant automation and electrical systems.
  • Experience with pumps, conveyors, and relay logic systems.
  • Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, Ethernet IP, and UTP networks.
  • Understanding of DeviceNet networks and PID controllers.
  • Experience with power distribution systems (120/240/480-volt, 4160v, and 34.5kv).
  • Ability to assist hourly electricians with troubleshooting.
  • Disciplined approach to prioritizing maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in PLC programming.
  • Familiarity with Wonderware and JDE CMMS systems.
