Job Title: Lean Engineer

Essex Industries is seeking a highly skilled Lean Engineer to join our team. As a Lean Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the research, evaluation, and implementation of improvements to our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and analyze value streams to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand pain points and interruptions to the flow of product.
  • Analyze and reduce queue times between processes to improve overall efficiency.
  • Apply A3 problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times and improve product quality.
  • Utilize data to create management reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend improvement projects based on current manufacturing methods and needs.
  • Coordinate Kaizen events and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or related field.
  • Up to three years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing.
