We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. As an integral member of the patient care team, you will be responsible for the preparation and dispensation of all medication, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacy personnel to deliver safe and optimal drug therapy and maximize positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and dispense medication to patients according to laws and regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate current and recommended drug therapies
- Provide consultation to caregivers on drug-related information
- Update and maintain patient medication profiles
- Supervise pharmacy team members to verify accuracy of work
- Monitor and maintain equipment and drug inventory
- Current, valid license registered to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Pharmacy
- Three to five years experience as a Level I Pharmacist
- Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
- Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft office applications preferred
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
