Pharmacist - Inpatient

As a vital member of the patient care team, the Inpatient Pharmacist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medication to patients at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. This registered professional is responsible for the preparation and dispensation of all medication, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacy personnel to deliver optimal drug therapy and maximize positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and dispense medication to patients according to established protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care.
- Provide consultation and education to patients, families, and healthcare teams on medication management and therapy.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of medication preparation, dispensation, and inventory.
- Supervise and train pharmacy team members to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Current, valid license to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts.
- Three to five years of experience as a Level I Pharmacist.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
