Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Swickard Auto Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive problems. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis and Repair: Analyze customer concerns and symptoms to identify the root cause of vehicle malfunctions. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems and conduct thorough inspections of various vehicle systems.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, explaining technical issues in an understandable way. Provide accurate estimates and timelines for repairs and keep customers updated on service progress.
  • Technical Skills and Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of automotive systems, including their operation, diagnosis, and repair. Stay up to date on new technologies and repair procedures through training and certifications.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Service Technician or related automotive repair experience. Completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent experience. Possession of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications is a strong plus.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
