CT Tech II Weekend Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech II Weekend to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast.

Job Summary

The CT Tech II Weekend will be responsible for performing post-processing on CT/MRI data sets, maintaining quality control measures of the 3D Lab, and ensuring proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform post-processing on CT/MRI data sets
  • Maintain quality control measures of the 3D Lab
  • Ensure proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment
  • Responsible for the proper use of the RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams)
  • Assist the department manager in-patient charging accuracy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 3D post-processing, positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the CT, MRI, and post-processing systems.

You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with others, prioritize tasks, and act as a mentor to staff as needed.
