Lead Teacher

Elco Child Care and Learning Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher - Education Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in Early Childhood Education, preferably with Montessori experience. As a Lead Teacher - Education Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing daily routines, coordinating activities, cleaning and maintaining the classroom setting and facility, developing and implementing weekly Montessori-based lesson plans, and maintaining accurate records of children's developmental milestones.

• Plan and implement daily routines that promote learning and development.
• Coordinate activities that foster socialization, creativity, and exploration.
• Clean and maintain the classroom setting and facility to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Develop and implement weekly Montessori-based lesson plans that cater to individual child needs.
• Maintain accurate records of children's developmental milestones to track progress.

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
• Montessori experience a plus (we offer training).
  We require all employees to pass PA Child Abuse, Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprinting, and NSOR checks.
  Must be open to taking State Regulated Training such as Mandated Reporting, Health & Safety, Red First Aid/CPR, and up to twelve annual training hours.
