Are you dedicated to enhancing educational experiences for students? We are in search of motivated, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) math tutors to provide crucial support to middle school educators. This role offers a unique chance to engage directly with students, fostering their confidence and proficiency in mathematics.
Responsibilities:
In this position, you will collaborate closely with educators and school administration, playing an essential role in delivering tailored assistance to small groups of learners. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring that students receive a robust, culturally relevant education.
- Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM to 2:50 PM.
- Program Duration: September to April (excluding holidays and school events).
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing academic support in both English and Spanish.
- Working collaboratively with teachers to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Communicating effectively with students to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Being adaptable to meet the diverse needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in tutoring or teaching middle school mathematics is preferred.
- Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
