Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packer to join our team at Stampede Culinary Partners. As a Packer, you will be responsible for packaging meat products in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meat Portioning and Packaging: Portion diced meat by weighing the meat and packaging the meat into a bag/tray and/or placing the meat into a vacuum machine.
  • Quality Control: Verify the weight on individual steaks by weighing them on a scale.
  • Product Preparation: Take finished product packaged in a bag and seal the bag with a hand sealer machine.
  • Teamwork and Safety: Demonstrate the ability to work as a team and follow direction. Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Regularly stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; repetitively reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move meat weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Regularly exposed to cold temperatures (45 degrees) in the plant. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
